Project Shield," funded by The Veterans Foundation and delivered in partnership with Vector24 and Substances Support Scotland, is a dedicated initiative to triage members of the armed forces community and their families in need of mental health support. This programme specifically addresses those with alcohol or substance use overlays, ensuring they are triaged and offered support within five working days. Following triage, a tailored programme of mental health support will be offered by fully qualified counsellors. Additionally, Vector24 will provide transportation if required, ensuring individuals can access the help they need in a safe and timely manner.
